Position Overview
The Test Engineer ensures HSA’s world‑leading hydrogen technology prototypes undergo structured, standards‑aligned testing that produces high‑integrity, traceable data for internal engineering decisions and external validation. This role is central to prototype readiness, safety assurance and evidence generation for independent verification partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop integrated test plans, readiness checklists and entry/exit criteria
- Validate test environments, instrumentation and calibration status
- Execute structured tests including:
- System bring‑up and functional checks
- Leak testing and pressure integrity
- Thermal cycling and stability assessments
- Gas output verification and performance audits
- Electrical audits and safety checks.
- Capture fully traceable data (timestamps, configuration, calibration state, chain‑of‑custody)
- Log deviations, nonconformances and anomalies with root‑cause analysis
- Map test procedures to relevant safety, EMC, electrical and environmental standards
- Prepare compliance matrices and validation evidence packs
- Support witness testing and external verification activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical or mechatronics engineering
- 5–10+ years’ experience in test engineering for high‑voltage, plasma, energy or advanced technology systems
- Strong capability in instrumentation, calibration and data acquisition
- Familiarity with relevant standards and compliance pathways
- High documentation discipline and structured analytical approach.
