Groundbreaking IP
Intellectual Property at HSA is going to be groundbreaking, particularly with Project Shield.
Why are we confident? HSA has one of the world’s leading physicists at the helm who has played a key role in developing concepts to commercialisation for
more than 20 patented products using plasma technology. With a world well and truly ready for the Clean Tech revolution, we’re carefully preparing our breakthrough technology.
This is big-ticket innovative tech providing a solution for Energy Security.
Hydrogen Systems Australia plans for a trailing income stream through the future sale of this intellectual technology, beneficial for investment returns as the technology developed for Project Shield will be patented and wholly owned by HSA for licensing to partners and collaborators.
Our competitive advantage
PROJECT SHIELD – PRODUCT FEATURE
Using HSA’s Dual Frequency Plasma Electrolyzer technology, we believe we can help drive the cost of Green Hydrogen down to the much coveted $2/kg (and lower).
- Service small to medium Green Hydrogen production (under 1MW)
- Expected energy efficiency is up to 90% compared with 57% for current market-dominant PEM electrolyzers.
- Lower operational cost – estimated to produce 1kg of hydrogen with as little as 35kWh of energy vs current PEM units, which require 56kWh
- Zero-emission: uses renewable energy and water
- Life expectancy: 80,000 hours
- System lifetime expectancy: 25-30 years
- Lower Capex: 20% of the current standard PEM electrolyzer price. Making it up to 80% cheaper
- Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 200cm (approx)
- Hydrogen production 2.7-3kg per hour
- Modules can be stacked in parallel
